Each handmade Vitra miniature is a classic in the history of furniture design reduced in size at a scale of 1:6. True to the original pieces in structure and materials, the miniatures are precision-crafted, making them a thoughtful gift for a furniture lover or design professional. Verner Panton's cantilevered stacking chair (1960) was the first chair in design history to have no back legs and to be molded in one piece entirely out of plastic. It has been produced by Vitra through three decades of development in plastics technology. This set of Vitra miniatures includes five Panton Chairs (white, yellow, black, blue and red) and comes handsomely packaged in a wood box with an informational booklet.
