Designed by Gogo Ferguson, the jacaranda seed pod ornament is handmade from alpaca. Alpaca is a hand forged metal of copper, nickel, and zinc. This beautiful object can be hung or placed on any surface.

About the Artist: Gogo Ferguson spends her time on Cumberland taking walks to find her inspiration. She will often find shell and bone washed along the scenic coastline. Skeletons from snakes long gone and the armor from an armadillo are found in the islands untouched forests. Where others would see an end, Gogo sees a beginning. Finding beauty and patterns in the various parts of nature at the end of their life cycles. Taking the bone and shells she finds, she transforms nature into wearable art.
