Our recycled leather notepad has a unique puzzle cut design on the front and features the Museum's Tache logo and Sarasota Art Museum / Ringling College of Art + Design on the back. The pad has 100 sheets with a dot graph design.
Made and assembled in the USA from imported Italian recycled leather. This material is created by first collecting remnants of fine Italian leather from artisan work shops. These scraps are then shredded, mixed with natural rubber, and pressed into sheets. The new material is finished with a coating for color and protection. The final recycled material averages 80% genuine Italian leather.

About our Tache:
Sarasota Art Museum leadership chose to work with students to design the Museum’s logo. Under the guidance of Jennifer Mumford of the Design Center, graduates Stacey D’Andelet and Ashley McGowan worked with the Museum crew to learn about the Museum. The goal was to create an iconic and minimal mark—a tache, in the language of art—that was future-oriented, fresh, and dynamic. Influences ranged from Alfred Barr’s “arrow through time” concept to the energetic geometries of Carmen Herrera’s paintings.
